Bingkai Karya – After releasing a song dedicated to her father titled “Kepada Yang Teristimewa” (To My Dearest One) earlier in January 2025, this August Syarla Marz returns to the Indonesian music charts with “Kasih Tak Sampai” (unrequited love), which was released on Friday, August 29, 2025.
Covering the well-known 2001 hit from the Padi band, Syarla felt this was a huge opportunity she couldn’t miss, especially since the song had never been performed from a woman’s point of view.
“I really love this song because the lyrics don’t explicitly express pain and disappointment; they’re subtle yet full of meaning,” Syarla shared.
Once again embracing the pop ballad genre, in “Kasih Tak Sampai” she pours out her feelings of loss and heartbreak from being unable to be with the one she loves. With Barsena as vocal director, Syarla interprets the song from the perspective of a woman left behind by her lover forever.

Producer Nico Veryandi also added a special touch by incorporating elements of Kalimantan culture through the Sape, a traditional Dayak instrument into the background music.
