Bingkai Karya – What happens when a maestro pours his heart into a musical creation? The result is undoubtedly a phenomenal masterpiece. That’s exactly what Andi Rianto has accomplished in his newly released album, Symphony from the Heart.
Released under Universal Music Indonesia, this album holds a deep and emotional significance for Andi Rianto. Why? Because it encapsulates the essence of who he is as a musician.
“This album represents my musical genre. So, if people are curious about what kind of musician Andi Rianto is, they can find the answer through the songs in this album,” explained Andi Rianto.
Symphony from the Heart is a collaborative compilation album featuring various Indonesian artists. It all began with the release of Bahasa Kalbu with Raisa, followed by Sang Dewi and Mengejar Matahari.
“I named this album Symphony from the Heart because I firmly believe that every piece of music must be honest and come from the heart. That’s the essence behind its title,” he emphasized.
This album consists of eleven songs, nine of which were previously released and became hits. Meanwhile, there are two brand-new songs that stand out—Sampai Di Sini, a collaboration with Rony Parulian, and Kau Selalu Di Hati, performed by Lyodra and Rony Parulian.
Andi Rianto chose Lyodra and Rony Parulian for these songs because they had frequently collaborated with him on past projects, building a strong chemistry that facilitated the creative process.
“Lyodra and Rony were chosen because we’ve worked together on several previous projects. I intentionally held a workshop with them for a new song, which led to Kau Selalu Di Hati. As for Sampai Di Sini, I had envisioned a special song idea for Rony,” Andi shared.
Interestingly, both Lyodra and Rony were given the challenge of writing the lyrics for these songs. They successfully complemented the beautiful melodies with equally stunning lyrics.
Creating a compilation album featuring multiple artists is no easy feat. That was one of Andi Rianto’s greatest challenges in completing Symphony from the Heart. However, he has successfully realized one of his biggest dreams, making this album a remarkable legacy in his musical journey.
Returning to one of the album’s standout tracks, Kau Selalu Di Hati is a love song arranged in a pop ballad style. It beautifully captures the pure love between two people, expressed from the depths of their hearts.
The arrangement is highly melodic, featuring exquisite harmonies enriched by the string sections of the Budapest Scoring Orchestra, creating a grand and romantic ambiance.
Furthermore, the music video for Kau Selalu Di Hati visually enhances the song’s beauty by showcasing a magnificent, classical European-style setting. Shot in Europe, the video exudes a deeply romantic atmosphere.
“The music video for Kau Selalu Di Hati has a romantic vibe, but behind the scenes, we had a lot of laughs due to funny moments. The chemistry between me, Lyodra, and Rony Parulian was truly harmonious,” Andi revealed.
Through Symphony from the Heart, Andi Rianto hopes that every song will leave a lasting impression on listeners and find a special place in their hearts.
“I hope this album and all the songs in it reach their audience and serve as a reminder that true artistry must be honest and heartfelt,” expressed Andi Rianto.
