Bingkai Karya-The legendary Indonesian pop group Ten2Five is returning to welcome fans with their latest hit. This time, in contrast to previous times, they have selected “Kau,” a song made popular by T-Five, as their signature track. It is available on all digital music platforms in June 2024.
With a touch of Ten2Five’s signature music, the song “Kau ” is back with a fresh new feel. But still, they also bring the nostalgia of the original song. “This project started with a casual conversation between the Ten2Five team and Yerry, the vocalist of T-Five, to exchange singles. And it was finally agreed that Ten2Five would perform the song “Kau” while T-Five would perform the song “You”. Fun fact, after going into the production process we realized that there are many similarities for this project. In addition to the similar names of each band, the meaning of the song titles are also the same,” said Imel (Vocalist).
“This collaborative project has actually been initiated since the end of 2023. But because each band has their own work plans and due to the political calendar in Indonesia, we agreed to release the songs ‘Kau’ and ‘You’ this June,” Thomas (Drummer) explained.
Ten2Five’s “Kau” single, composed by Yerry and Rizal, is a prelude to their original work. It is available on all digital music platforms on May 17, 2024. “We hope that the release of the single ‘You’ can be a tribute to T-Five. In addition, this will also be a bridge for music lovers across generations to be able to enjoy legendary songs with a new touch,” Arif concluded.
