The Panturas Set Sail on a Collaborative Tour Across Indonesia

Bingkai Karya – Since forming in 2015, The Panturas have become one of the most dedicated touring bands in Indonesia. They’ve already completed four tours, and they’re about to embark on their fifth: the Sail & Connect tour with Jameson Connects.

This time, the band has a special mission: to reconnect and collaborate with other musicians and creatives in five different cities: Bandung (January 21), Malang (January 23), Surabaya (January 24), Bali (January 27), and Jakarta (January 28).

“We always enjoy collaborating with local collectives because they know the local scene best,” The Panturas said. “We also love meeting new people from the collectives. We’ve made a lot of friends from touring, and we’re still friends with them today.”

The collectives involved in the tour are Leisure (Bandung), Heartfelt Collective (Malang), Kerass Entertainment (Surabaya), Skullism Records & TOTC BLACKDROBE (Bali), and Paguyuban Crowd Surf (Jakarta).

In addition to the music performances, the Sail & Connect tour will also feature talk shows. Each talk show will focus on a different topic related to the local scene. The talk shows are part of the tour’s mission to promote collaboration and community building.

Hendrik Simons, Group Brand Manager of Whiskey Pernod Ricard Indonesia, said that the collaboration between The Panturas and Jameson Connects is a continuation of the success of the music video for “Jim Labrador.”

“We were excited to collaborate with The Panturas again to meet and greet music fans in Indonesia,” he said.

It is possible that The Panturas will perform new material on the Sail & Connect tour. If you’re near any of the tour cities, be sure to check it out!
