Bingkai Karya-The Smile just released a new song titled “Don’t Get Me Started,” alongside a music video directed by audiovisual artist Weirdcore.
“Don’t Get Me Started” follows a limited-edition 12-inch two-track single released last week through global cassette stores. The double A-side features “Don’t Get Me Started” and another new track, “The Slip.” It packaged in an iconic XL house bag redesigned by Stanley Donwood.
“Don’t Get Me Started” made its debut during The Smile’s UK tour in March this year. This single made in support of the band’s second album, “Wall Of Eyes,” released in January. The track was produced and mixed by Sam Petts-Davies. It is the producer who also worked on “Wall Of Eyes,” and was recorded between Oxford and Abbey Road Studios.
This release marks The Smile’s first new music since their acclaimed album “Wall Of Eyes.” This album reached Number 3 on the UK Albums Chart. It also has received fantastic reviews from The Guardian, The Times, The Independent, The FT, NME, Rolling Stone UK, and many more.
