Bingkai Karya-Neona, who began her career as a child musician, appears to have established her career path. She is ready to release her work more seriously through a new mini album titled “Pretty Girl Rock.”
Neona poured out what she wanted to say through her songs. She admits that most of the inspiration for the songs in this mini album are based on her personal stories. As well as the stories of her closest friends.
In addition, as a step towards the release of her mini album, Neona also held a Dance Camp on June 28, 29, 30, 2024. Previously, she also auditioned the dancers online. The participants were required to upload a video of them performing the choreography of the song “Yes You Do, No I Don’t” on TikTok or Instagram. After that, ten dancers were selected, all of which were selected by Neona and her mother, Nola.
The ten dancers even came from outside Jakarta, namely Bandung, Jogja, Kebumen and even Pontianak. “The dance camp was really fun, it was great to meet some really cool dancers,” said Neona, describing the process of the dance camp. “The dancers that I chose online were also able to do the choreography really well. Even though they only rehearsed for two days and it became a memorable experience for me,” continued the 15-year-old musician.
