World Cup Highlights, Germany Lost Against Japan while Spain Shows Its Dominance

There are 4 matches from Group E and Group F on Wednesday 23 November 2022. The result of World Cup 2022 was always exciting to see. There were so many surprising and fierce battles such as Germany who lost 1-2 to Japan and Spain who performed dominantly by scoring 7-0 from Costa Rica. Here, we summarized the highlights of what happened in the match. 

Morocco and Croatia were both the qualifiers for Group F. Morocco and Croatia had a fierce battle which resulted in no goals being scored for both. Furthermore, this result also left Croatia and Morocco in second and third place in Group F of the 2022 World Cup.

The heat was raised on the qualifier of group E where Japan and Germany competed. Der Panzer was able to take the lead first through Ilkay Gundogan’s penalty in minute 33. However, Japan unexpectedly came back in the second round. When the match entered the last minutes, Japan scored a goal by Ritsu Doan in minute 75 followed by Takuma Asano’s goal in minute 83 as Japan’s victory. 

Still in Group E, which is Spain vs Costa Rica. With Keylor Navas as a keeper, it was predicted that Spain would be struggling to score a goal. However, Spain was really dominant by scoring 7 goals against Costa Rica. The result became Spain’s biggest win in all their matches in the World Cup so far. Due to its victory Spain reach the first position in Group E while Costa Rica fall to the bottom  

Last but not least, Belgia vs Canada. In the match, Roberto Martinez scored 1-0 in minute 44 which is the only goal for Belgia.
