Anne-Marie, a singer from England, released her new song “Expectations” on Thursday (9/3/2023). In this new song, Anne-Marie collaborated with Minnie, a member of K-Pop girl group (G)I-DLE. The collaboration between both of them was first announced on February 22, 2023.
In this latest song with the pop punk genre, Anne-Marie and Minnie talk about not to be easily swayed by the judgments or expectations of others and to move forward from the past. Like one of the lyrics in their song “I don’t need your expectations. Made the bricks to pave my way”. Anne-Marie and MINNIE (G)I-DLE’s collaboration single ‘Expectations’ is available now on all streaming platforms.

Anne-Marie is known as a multi-platinum selling artist and has become one of the most successful and popular pop stars nowadays. Recently, she just released her new single ‘SAD B!TCH’. In Korea, she became famous for her single ‘2002’ which was released in 2018. Her song has stayed on the weekly MelON chart for 144 successive weeks and made it the top non-Korean song in 2021. Throughout her career until now, Anne-Marie became one of the nominees for the 9X BRIT Award. Now Anne-Marie is working on her third album which is rumored to be released later this year.
Minnie, born in Thailand, is the main vocalist of the K-pop girl group (G)I-DLE. Recently, (G)I-DLE released their latest single with ‘Nxde’ and ‘TOMBOY’ which ranked number 1 on major streaming platforms in Korea. With this collaboration with Anne-Marie in ‘Expectations’ adds the collaboration projects that have been released by (G)I-DLE. Other collaborations that have been out previously with collaborators such as Steve Aoki, R3hab, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Madison Beer, Kim Petras and many more.
