Ziggy continued, the authenticity of this film can be seen by being filmed in England and Jamaica, and with many Jamaican actors, made him proud because it represented their culture. This movie’s taken in original locations where Bob walks, plays football, and sings as in Trench Town and Bull Bay in Kingston.
The film was directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green, and written by Zach Baylin, Frank E. Flowers and Terence Winter. Also played by several stars such as Kingsley Ben-Adir as the iconic Jamaican singer, Lashana Lynch as Rita Marley, wife of Bob, and others.
