Daun Jatuh, a folk-pop group from Tangerang, is back with their newest song “Sekedar Mengagumi”. This song shows pov from someone who admires a person they like. This song will also be the opening on their upcoming opening EP.
Verrel, a vocalist for Daun Jatuh, said that the song “Sekedar Mengagumi” is their way of looking at situations where expectations collide with reality. However, unlike the general perspective where most people face the situation with discouragement. They see that this song shows how to love someone or something at a more mature level, because we don’t have to have something we admire.
Timothy, the guitarist for Daun Jatuh, added that this song was written by accident and in a fairly short process. Because this song was written in the middle of a break in a series of workshops while in Ubud, Bali.

This song opens with an acoustic guitar and poetic lyrics which are the distinct characteristics of the Daun Jatuh. This song was composed by Verrell and Timothy, and produced by Petra Sihombing.
In 2022, Daun Jatuh released their first EP entitled “Seroja”. There are 6 songs included in the EP, “Bungkam”, “Malang”, “Tak Selaras”, “Momen”, “Biru”, and “Memadam”. All of the six songs were written by all members of Daun Jatuh and produced by Ibnu Dian from Matter Halo.
