Argentina Surprisingly Lost 1-2 Against Saudi Arabia, Denmark-Tunisia Remain Draw

The results of the third day of the 2022 World Cup brought surprises because of shocking wins from the seeded zone teams on November 22-23 2022. In total, there were four matches that took place on the third day of the 2022 World Cup. A match between Argentina and Saudi Arabia opened the league last night.  

Argentina was forced to give up 1-2 by Saudi Arabia when they met at the Lusail Iconic Stadium on November 22, 2022. Argentina started this match well. They were able to lead 1-0 in the 10th minute through a penalty by Lionel Messi. But, in the second half, Saudi Arabia gave 2 goals back. Saudi Arabia won 3 points in the Group C match for the 2022 World Cup by goals from Saleh Al-Shehri and Salem Al-Dawsari.

The second match occurred at 20.00 WIB was between the Danish national team and the Tunisian national team. Both of them played the 2022 World Cup Group D match at the Education City Stadium, Al Rayyan.

Tunisia was not favored in this match. However, they managed to tie a draw against Denmark with a score of 0-0. The match at 23.00 presented a duel from Group C. The Polish national team was challenged by Mexico. Tata Martino’s squad showed no fear, even though they were predicted to lose before the game.

This match ended in a 0-0. Poland actually had the advantage through a penalty kick, but unfortunately Robert Lewandowski’s execution was still pushed over by Mexican goalkeeper Guillerme Ochoa.
